DIRECTIONS

Spire Hospital Manchester is situated just two miles away from the city centre and approximately five minutes' drive from the Chester Road/Mancunian way junction.

 

By car from the city centre (Deansgate)

Head southwards on Deansgate, which becomes Chester Road.  Continue to Chester Road roundabout.  At roundabout take second exit, B5218 Chorlton and Whalley Range, onto Chorlton Road.  *After crossing third set of traffic lights (Whalley Hotel on your right) take first right into Whalley Road.  Russell Road is fifth on left.

By car from the north (M62/M60)

From M62/M60 continue onto M602, signposted Manchester, Eccles and Salford, becoming A57 dual carriageway.  Continue on the A57 passing Sainsbury's on left.  Go under railway bridge taking left slip road, following signs for Chorlton.  At roundabout take third exit, signposted B5218 Chorlton and Whalley Range, onto Chorlton Road.  As above * thereafter.

By car from the south (M56)

Continue to end of M56.  **Follow signs for A5103 (Princess Parkway). Turn left onto Wilbraham Road (Whalley Range High School on left).  At second set of traffic lights turn right into Withrington Road.  Continue along this road until you reach St Margaret's Primary School on left hand side. Immediately after school turn left onto College Road.  Take third right onto Wood Road and first right onto Carlton Road.  Russell Road is second on left.

By car from the east (M60)

Join M60, exiting at junction 5, signposted A5103 to Manchester.  As above ** thereafter.

By car from the west (M60)

Join M60 exiting junction 5, signposted A5103 Manchester.  Take slip road to Northenden.  Turn right under motorway and right again towards Manchester city centre, A5103.  Carry straight onto Princess Road for approximately one mile.  As above ** thereafter.

By Rail

Manchester Piccadilly Station is approximately 15 minutes and Victoria Station (local service) is 10 minutes away by car.

By Bus

Buses 46, 53 and 86 stop within easy access of the hospital.
